Emerald House Shortlisted for Two National PR Awards

Campaigns for GANE and McKinnon recognised in the Regional Communications and Not-for-Profit categories, as the Communication and Public Relations Australia (CPRA) awards mark 50 years of PR excellence

Emerald House has been nominated for two awards at the 2026 Golden Target Awards, run by Communication and Public Relations Australia (CPRA). Being shortlisted is recognition of some of the work our team is especially proud of.

The nominations are for the Regional Communications Campaign, for Australia Repairs: Growing Australia’s Nature Economy with GANE, and the Not-for-Profit Campaign, for Making Democracy Make News with McKinnon. Both are shortlisted in the awards’ 50th year, marking half a century since CPRA — Australia’s peak body for the communications and public relations profession — began recognising the best of the industry.

The campaigns are, on the surface, very different pieces of work. One of them is about carbon markets and farmers, the other about democratic institutions and political leadership. But both are a fair reflection of why Emerald House exists: to work on difficult issues, with serious organisations, in places where good communications can genuinely help shift a debate.

Winners of the CPRA Golden Target Awards will be announced later this year. Whatever the outcome, the nominations are a welcome nod to two campaigns, and two client partnerships, that the whole Emerald House team is proud to have worked on.
